It's been three years since I last changed my bike's shifter cables. I just realized that when I searched the archives of this blog and found my post on it. No wonder my shifting wasn't as crisp.
After yesterday's extra hot ride in La Mesa with the dudes and dudettes of PhilMoFo, I brought the bike to All Terra in Julia Vargas Avenue to have it washed. When I was there, I saw a nice set of red Jagwire shifter cable housing
and decided - what the heck! I might as well have my shifter cables replaced since I'm there anyway. It wasn't shifting that well anyway despite the lube.
Now my bike's silver, red and black. Sweet!
