This is the Giro E2 mountain bike helmet. It's Giro's top-of-the-line cross country helmet for more than five years. The colors and graphics change each year but it's basically the same helmet. On the other hand, their road line-up have had a couple of redesigns ever since. From the Pneumo, they introduced the Atmos, and now it's the Ionos. I guess having a Lance Armstrong using it really helped them.
Now only if the technology learned from doing their road helmets would trickle down to cross country mountain bike helmets. That would be so cool.
